Tucson AZ Real Estate

There's no place like Tucson.

From America's southern most ski slopes on Mt. Lemon, to the hot springs at Agua Caliente Park, Tucson is a surprising and fascinating destination.

Here's quick guide to "must not miss" local attractions.  Start with the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum: a must see for naturalists or anyone who wants a guide to the unique desert ecosystem.  After that, drive or hike the trails of the Saguaro National Park, you'll see spectacular vistas, Native American Petroglyphs and magnificent Sonoran flora and fauna.  Don't miss Tucson's diverse Cultural resources.  San Xavier Mission, the "White Dove of the Desert" is an essential stop.  Its foundations were laid in 1700 by Father Kino.  The art inside this Adobe Cathedral is on par with anything in Europe or India!  Tucson has excellent art and history Museums, but visit the Pima Air and Space Museum, or the Titan Missile Museum, where you can tour an actual underground nuclear missile silo - very cool. Tucson is also known as the Astronomy capital of the world and is ringed with observatories, some of which are open to the public.  For two weeks in January and February the Old Pueblo also hosts the International Gem, Fossil and Mineral Show, an amazing event put on by over 250 dealers. This show highlights gem and mineral specimens that match any in the world.  Sporting events here vary from Baseball Spring training and major golf classics, to El Tour de Tucson, one of the major biking races in the nation with over 9,000 participants.  Tucson also has excellent performing arts including professional theater, opera, and music from local Indy bands to classical symphony and pops in the park.  It is also a center for the creative arts with strong artist communities in all disciplines, but especially writing and painting.  As to accommodations: the "Old Pueblo" has world class resorts, RV lifestyle venues, unique and reasonably priced B&Bs and remarkable primitive camping sites.

Visit Tucson, and you will soon return to stay.  The Old Pueblo opens its arms to new residents, whether you are buying a vacation home for the Eden-like winter weather, or plan to move here on a permanent basis.  You will find a community with the amenities of a big city but the feel of a small town.  We have a thriving market in condos, townhomes, patio homes and single family residences.  Prices range from bargains for rehabbers to reasonably valued, but not inexpensive, homes crafted from the finest materials, with amenities and views to rival any in the world.  You can find authentic adobe homes with the flavor of the old pueblo, resource-saving homes in modern green communities or daring artistic lofts near the emergent downtown area.  Inventory is still high but has been dropping for the last year, prices have stabilized in most areas, and pending sales are up.  All indications are that Tucson has begun its recovery from the housing slump that still plagues many American cities.
